Food & Wine in Starlit Tuscany

From 10th to 15th August, the Tuscan Wine Tourism Movement wineries will open their cellars and vineyards for wine-based picnics and stargazing.


Starting at dusk and hosted by the Tuscan association as part of Calici di Stelle (lit. “star-filled wine glasses”), the initiative will provide the unique opportunity to experience food, wine, music and other forms of entertainments in the middle of starlit vineyards. The initiative will take place from 10th to 15th August and will involve over ten wineries subscribing to the Tuscan Wine Tourism Movement, located all through the region. “This is a most perfect opportunity to regain touch with nature, from the sky to the wine glass” says Violante Gardini, President of the Tuscan Wine Tourism Movement.
